Acumen nEHR allows all providers on the care team - physicians, nurse practitioners, physicians extenders, and office staff - to access patient information from any computer having internet access. Patient charts are immediately updated with office visit notes, new lab data, inpatient rounding notes, and dialysis treatment results as these events happen. Whenever the physician or other member of the care team “pulls” a patient chart, the most accurate and current clinical information is at their fingertips.

On-call physicians use Acumen nEHR to quickly understand a patient presenting in the ER. An accurate and comprehensive clinical picture, including access to recent problem lists, encounters with physicians, current prescriptions, etc. can be accessed from any internet host. In the dialysis unit, the patient’s complete chart can be viewed, combining dialysis treatment information with practice-generated clinical notes in one view. By accessing charts from virtually anywhere, the nephrologists can review and sign charts from home or any other clinical setting where he/she might be working.
